WHAT IT IS
What is BioRePeel?
BioRePeel is a bio-stimulating chemical peel containing 35% trichloroacetic acid (TCA), combined with a proprietary blend of acids, amino acids, vitamins, and skin-barrier supporting lipids. Unlike traditional TCA peels, BioRePeel uses a patented two-phase formula that delivers active ingredients into the skin while protecting the skin barrier - producing chemical peel results with minimal visible peeling and zero downtime.
It is used to treat acne, congestion, pigmentation, scarring, fine lines, and uneven texture. BioRePeel is available at Skin Ritual in Newmarket, Auckland, at $215 per session or $799 for a course of four.
WHO IT HELPS
BioRePeel effectively treats
six key skin concerns.
01
ACNE + CONGESTION
Salicylic acid decongests pores and reduces active breakouts, while TCA resurfaces and renews the skin.
03
PIGMENTATION + SUN DAMAGE
Accelerated cell turnover fades hyperpigmentation, post-inflammatory pigmentation (PIH), and sun damage over a course of treatment.
05
UNEVEN TEXTURE
Resurfacing and decongestion progressively refine skin texture and reduce the appearance of pores.
02
POST-ACNE SCARRING
TCA and amino acids work together to break down scar tissue and promote new, healthy skin cell formation.
04
FINE LINES
GABA dramatically increases collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid synthesis - firming and plumping the skin from within.
06
DULL SKIN
The combination of exfoliation, antioxidant infusion, and bio-stimulation restores radiance and vitality to skin.
HOW IT WORKS
The science of BioRePeel.
1
Active phase
The BioRePeel solution is applied and massaged into the skin. The two-phase formula separates into a lipophilic upper layer and a hydrophilic lower layer - the upper layer protects the skin barrier while the lower layer drives the active acids and bio-stimulating ingredients into the dermis.
2
Neutralisation
The solution is neutralised and removed. A post-peel balm and SPF are applied to complete the treatment. Most clients leave with skin that looks glowing and calm, rather than red or irritated.
3
Progressive improvement
The skin continues to renew in the days following treatment. CMED protocols recommend four treatments at 7-12 day intervals for optimal results - the short interval is possible precisely because the skin barrier is protected throughout.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES
What to expect from a BioRePeel treatment.
Results depend on skin type, skin concern, and consistency with your prescribed homecare. These are the outcomes most clients experience when they follow the skin therapist guidance.
Clearer skin
Congestion and active breakouts reduce over a course of treatment as pores are decongested and skin cell turnover increases.
Firmer skin
GABA-stimulated collagen and elastin synthesis firms and plumps the skin over time.
Fading pigmentation
Post-inflammatory pigmentation, sun damage, and uneven tone fade progressively with each treatment.
Softened lines
Progressive collagen stimulation visibly reduces fine lines with a course of treatment.
Smoother texture
Resurfacing refines skin texture and reduces the appearance of enlarged pores.
Immediate glow
Most clients notice an immediate improvement in skin radiance and clarity after the first treatment.

Honestly life changing. I’m now comfortable in my own skin for the first time in years thanks to the treatment plan Kurlyn created for me. Highly highly recommended

THE FORMULA
What's in BioRePeel?
BioRePeel contains one of the most complex formulas of any professional peel available. Here's what each ingredient does — and why it matters for your skin.
Breaks down damaged skin cells and induces formation of healthy new cells, improving texture, reducing pore size, fading pigmentation and scarring, and softening lines
01
35% TCA (trichloroacetic acid)
Supports the skin barrier, reduces irritation, and reduces oxidative stress through its antioxidant properties. It also suppresses MMP (matrix metalloproteinase enzyme) activity to protect collagen from breakdown.
04
Lactobionic acid
A barrier supportive, antioxidant AHA that promotes healing, and supports the effects of other AHAs in the formula.
06
Tartaric acid
Breaks down oil (sebum) and dead skin cell blockages within pores to decongest the skin and reduce blackheads and acne breakouts. Dissolves and controls excess oil.
02
Salicylic acid
Improves skin thickness, and increases glucosaminoglycan content of the skin (glucosaminoglycans are essential to healthy cell metabolism and maintenance of dermal collagen and elastin).
05
Citric acid
Restorative lipids that reduce irritation and support the skin barrier.
06
Squalane + Isopropyl Myrisate
Dramatically increases synthesis of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid via fibroblast cells. This improves skin hydration, firmness, elasticity and smoothness.
03
GABA (gabaminobutyric acid)
An essential co-factor in collagen synthesis, it is the main cellular antioxidant in the BioRePeel. It protects the skin against oxidative stress and support cellular regeneration.
06
Vitamin C
All deliver antioxidant benefits to the skin, assisting in damage repair and supporting collagen synthesis and retention.
06
Amino Acids: Glycine, Proline, Hydroxyproline, Arganine
