What is the custom facial?
A Custom Facial at Skin Ritual is a skin appointment that combines an initial consultation with a treatment selected specifically for your skin on the day. During the consultation, your therapist assesses your skin type, condition, and concerns - then recommends and performs the most appropriate treatment from Skin Ritual's treatment menu.
This may include a HydraFacial MD, BioRePeel, custom chemical peel, Vitamin A Infusion Peel, or another treatment depending on your skin's needs. The Custom Facial is priced from $199, with the final price depending on the treatment selected. It is available at Skin Ritual in Newmarket, Auckland.

HOW IT WORKS

Skin consultation
Your appointment begins with a thorough skin consultation. Your therapist discusses your concerns, goals, and skin history - and assesses your skin under a Woods lamp, performing barrier function tests where relevant. This is where the picture of your skin is built.

Treatment recommendation
Based on the consultation, your therapist recommends the most appropriate treatment from our menu for your skin on the day. They'll explain what they're recommending and why before anything begins - you'll always know what's happening and why.

Treatment
Your chosen treatment is performed. The options include HydraFacial MD, BioRePeel, custom chemical peels, Vitamin A Infusion Peel, and others from our treatment menu. The treatment and its duration will depend on what has been recommended.

Homecare guidance
Before you leave, your therapist will advise on homecare - what products to use, what to avoid, and what to expect in the days following treatment. If a follow-up course of treatment is appropriate, they'll discuss that too.

Manual exfoliation removing dead skin cells and fine facial hair. Suits dull skin, rough texture, and pre-event preparation.
