Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning, AKA epidermal levelling, is a treatment that gently exfoliates, and removes fine fluffy facial hair (peach fuzz).

Ideal as a pre-event treatment, or as regular treatment to maintain smooth skin.

HOW IT WORKS

Facial.jpg

For silky smooth skin

Our experienced skin therapists use a specialised blade, moving across the skin in a feathering motion, to remove fine, fluffy facial hair leaving the skin silky smooth.

The treatment also removes the outermost layer of dull skin cells, revealing brighter healthy cells underneath for a glowing complexion.

FAQ

Will my hair grow back darker/thicker?

This is a common question, but the answer is no - your hair will grow back at the same rate, colour and texture as before the treatment. The treatment does not affect the root of the hair, therefore cannot affect future hair growth.

What's the downtime?

There is zero downtime with this treatment, although we do recommend avoiding active skincare (vitamin A, AHA/BHAs) on the day of treatment, as the skin can be slightly more sensitive.

Can I combine dermaplaning with other treatments?

Yes! Dermaplaning is a great treatment to combine with other treatments. We most often combine it with peels and/or HydraFacials

How often?

Dermaplaning can be done every 4-6 weeks, depending on rate of hair growth. Some of our clients have it done regularly every month, while others have the treatment every once in a while before an event or special occasion.
