Progressive, not aggressive

When it comes to peels, slow and steady is the safest and most effective approach.

We begin with relatively low-strength peels to build up your tolerance and strengthen your skin - and over time, we increase the intensity of treatment allowing for better results, and creating significant long-term changes in the skin.

Tailored just for you.

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all. Every peel is customised to suit your specific skin, to ensure optimal efficacy and results.

Our therapists are trained in a broad range of peeling agents, including:

Lactic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, mandelic acid, retinol, retinaldehyde, trichloroacetic acid, kojic acid, malic acid, pyruvic acid.

During your skin assessment, your skin therapist will determine which peeling agents would best suit your skin, and which strength to use.

Our skin therapists undergo regular advanced peel training to ensure we are up to date with the safest and most effective peeling protocols available.

FAQ

What's the downtime?

It varies - but typically our advanced peels cause moderate peeling/flaking for 2-7 days, depending on the peel. It's important to avoid excessive heat on the day of your treatment - so no saunas, spas, hot yoga, or heavy exercise.

Can I wear make-up afterward?

We'd prefer you leave your skin clean for the rest of the day following a peel - but if necessary, mineral make-up is safe to use.

Is there any discomfort?

Again, it does vary depending on the peel - but normally a mild-moderate tingling sensation can be felt during our peels, which our clients find very manageable.

How many will I need, and how often?

This will depend on what you are trying to treat - but we normally recommend a minimum course of 4-6 treatments, at monthly intervals.
