The Aerolase Neo Elite delivers 1064nm laser energy into the dermis at a 650-microsecond pulse duration. This ultra-fast speed is what makes Aerolase uniquely safe for rosacea — the pulse is too fast to generate significant heat in the surrounding tissue, so only the targeted vessels are affected.

Vascular targeting
Laser energy is absorbed by haemoglobin in the overactive blood vessels. The vessel walls heat rapidly, collapse, and seal off. The body then naturally breaks down and reabsorbs the treated vessels over the weeks following treatment.
